For inside use, incorporate exhaust ventilation fan in front of the unit. This will keep hot discharge air moving away from machine.

Place front with machine no closer than 10 feet to nearest walls. In certain climates and conditions container should be placed where the ambient conditions are most favorable. Example: away from sun, or Under canopy Since the air flows down the floor from the machine it is necessary to start product storage to the very front Of the container.

If an aisle is left it may be a good ideal to use plywood walkway to distribute cooling to the rear.

The Aluminum floor provides the air flow. Debris such as cardboard or plastic should not be allowed to accumulate below the surface as this will impede air flow.

If possible raise unit off ground and tilt slightly to back doors, this will allow for drainage. Depending on conditions drains in front and rear should be cleared of debris on a regular basis. In some cases it may be desirable to place additional drain hoses to control water flow.

Keep in mind the containers are made to store products that are already cold or frozen. It is not equipped with high speed blast chill fans. If a hot product is introduced it will not cool immediately and if this is the desired intention in some cases these fans can be added or additional product spacing may satisfy this need.

Depending on the application and how the container is equipped ( some monitor return air temperature and other discharge air temperature ) it may be useful to install a thermometer to monitor both of these. This will be most helpful with highly sensitive perishable products, not necessary for deep freezing

Optional ideals depending on use conditions are:

Install plastic curtain at rear door to keep heat out when doors are open

Install inside a bulkhead and passage door and window. This will allow removal of product without keeping the doors open,

Interior lights

Side passage door
